Massage is so much more then just a pampering stress reliever. You don't have to be sore to have issues that you are unaware of. Like with all bad habits we just get used to it. If you lay flat on a flat surface do your shoulders lay flat against it? When you look sideways in a mirror does your head seem to jut forward? When you stand still in what direction does your feet and knee caps face? All of these are issues that massage can correct. Issues you may not be aware of because you have gotten used to holding yourself a certain way. Did you know that with regular massage you can prevent a lot of health issues, reduce your need for some prescription drugs, and even reduce cellulite. In my practice my clients are my utmost priority. Each person is an individual and is treated as such. No one massage is the same. Unless of course you want it to be! I take into account a clients needs, wants and what their bodies tell me they require or need. I take time before each session to look over your answers on your client form, any notes of previous sessions, and ask you about the type of massage and pressure you are wanting. I listen to my clients and encourage them to ask questions or make suggestions about their massage. I genuinely care about my clients.
